Audumbar tree

Lord Vishnu had taken avatar of Narasimha and tore out the stomach of Demon Hiranyakashyapu, Pralhad’s father, using his nails to protect his devotee Pralhad. As a result there wassevere burning sensation in Narasimha’s nails. This burning sensation wascured using the fruits of an Audumbar tree.
